Science Communications The Wisconsin Energy Institute's Education & Outreach team developed an online simulation game (above) to be used in both classroom and nonformal education settings to help communicate some of the conflicts and tradeoffs associated with bioenergy cropping systems.

Social and political forces have an enormous impact on how we receive and respond to information about science and energy. UW–Madison researchers focused on science communication study the intersection of energy and media, offering us new ways of understanding how the social and political influence our energy decisions as well as new and more effective ways to talk about energy.
